Sunset Cruise Last Night

We arrived at the docks.

The wind was blowing - a little.

The clouds were threatening - a little.

The sun was barely peaking out...

Luckily as soon as we cast off on our sunset cruise adventure - all cleared up and it was "smooth sailing".  We started our journey from Fisherman's Wharf in Venice and headed north.  We flowed along at a relaxing pace enjoying the wonderful views of the intra-coastal; the magnificent homes, the island covered in pelicans, the majestic sight of the palm trees against the horizon and of course the smiles on our fellow passengers' faces.  We ultimately pulled up onto Snake Island.  We unloaded our treats - and what a spread! We had bacon wrapped cheese-its, cream cheese with snickerdoodle apple dip, a multitude of wraps, hummus, and much more!!!  We ate, drank (we had captains driving ;-) and enjoyed.  The sunset of orange and red hues did not disappoint!  Before too long we were back on the boats heading back to the docks, with full bellies, photographs and some new friends.  Thanks to all who came out.  We have another one scheduled out of our Bradenton club for Monday, February 11thif you are interested please reserve your spot with Lu 941-795-1600!
