SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY 10/20/2020
Please be advised there is a small craft advisory today and no boats will be allowed out. Mask Requirement Manatee County
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Please be advised when leaving out of our Bradenton location that Manatee County now has a Mask Mandate that states the following .... Manatee County Commissioners enacted a local face covering resolution that goes into effect immediately. Those entering a business in Manatee County will be required to wear a face mask. The resolution requires an individual in a business establishment to wear a face covering while inside the business, unless social distancing can be achieved (6 feet or more apart). The mask mandate will not apply to children under age six or to those "who have trouble breathing due to a chronic pre-existing condition or individuals with a documented or demonstrable medical problem." https://mymanatee.org/news___eve…/…/face_covering_resolution Waves Will Be Open May 1st, 2020
The vision of Waves, from our commencement 16 years ago, is “to serve our members with excellence and to help make many wonderful memories on the water.”
We are all in this together; enduring extreme pressure and stress due to the COVID-19 virus. If Waves can help to mitigate this, even a little bit for you, by providing a boating outlet, we would like to make this happen. We are going to do a “trial opening” at all locations, regular hours on May 1st, 2020 with many added regulations. If successful, we will remain open.
